Casey is a recent graduate of the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland, College Park, specializing in behavioral interventions, community health, and nonprofit administration. As administrative assistant, Casey’s role at Stage Six is to support the team with a range of projects to maximize impact and efficiency. She is excited to start her career in global community health and the social sector.
In the nonprofit sector, Casey has worked as an intern for Care 2 Communities, a community-based clinic network in Northern Haiti. She currently interns at Family Learning Solutions, Inc. coordinating tutoring and mentoring programs for students in Montgomery County, Maryland public schools. Her digital and visual communications work have supported legislative efforts made by AFSCME Council 3 and student labor organizers associated with United Studens Against Sweatshops. Casey’s research experience includes contributions to a publication in the journal of Health Services Research and Managerial Epidemiology, as well as the coordination of an undergraduate research team for an on-going meta-analysis with the SOGI Health Research Group.
